We took ownership of the café in September 2022. This is not a path we saw ourselves on at any time in our 31 years of marriage, but we are excited to be a part of the Brewster community, as well as a stopping point for the many who pass through.

We are blessed with five children – Marlowe (Lucas), Carolyn (Ty), Meredith, Camille, and Owen – as well as 4 grandchildren – Addison, Cora, Beauden, and Peyton! You will probably see some of them from time-to-time in the café. Our family is one of the main reasons we were interested in this opportunity. In this day and age, it is difficult to get everyone together and the café affords the possibility for us to work together and get away from the many distractions of life while building new relationships.

We have always been big supporters of our children’s activities – everything from the arts, to animals, to athletics. Having attended Ohio State, we are big Buckeye fans, but we also love all things Cleveland. 

We are grateful to be a part of the Brewster community and hope to build on the excellent reputation of the café.
